Description:
We are a registered Red Angus cow/calf operation in Central Montana. We run from 800 to 1000 head depending on the year. We are looking for a motivated person to join our crew as soon as possible. Need to be honest and reliable as well as take pride in what you do. Must be a team player and capable of working by yourself at times to get a job done. Willing to learn or expand knowledge. We provide housing that is best suited for a single or married couple without children at this time. We start calving January 1st through March. We do our own AI program. This is not a cowboy position but we do try and use horses as much as possible. Two personal horses are aloud. We also have ranch horses to ride. We do not have a haying operation at this time. Duties to expect are listed.



Calving cows and heifers

AI heat detecting

Operating equipment

Feeding hay and cake

Salt and Mineral

Fencing- fixing old and putting in new

Equipment maintenance

Building maintenance

Cattle handling skills

Horsemanship skills

Knowing sickness in cattle

Doctoring in a pasture setting

Transportation of cattle





We have a good crew here and we are glad to have the opportunity to add another person to it.
