Description:
If you are a fan of palominos and want one that will turn heads everywhere you take him, then Chase is your horse. He is extremely flashy, a dappled palomino with a white mane and tail and plenty of shape, with his big hip, wide chest and plenty of bone. Chase is 7 years old and 14.3 hh, stout enough to carry a big person but not too high off the ground or hard to get on. He sells as GRADE. Chase has been used primarily as a pleasure horse, but has also carried a flag in grand entries and has played around on barrels. He is an excellent trail horse but would also make an excellent drill team horse or palomino patrol horse. Chase has a good handle, a nice jog and a smooth, rocking horse lope, knows his leads and will work off your leg. He is a pleasure to ride out in the pasture, crosses water with no problem, and isn’t spooky. He is laid back and rides on a loose rein, content to walk quietly all day long but will easily step into a trot or lope when asked. Chase can be ridden by himself or in a large group of horses with no problem. He will leave the group willingly and will happily lead or follow. He has also been ridden along the side of the road and in traffic and is not bothered by it. Chase can be a little watchy on the ground, he is not dangerous or mean he just has not had a lot of groundwork done and culd benefit from some groundwork and hands on to let him know people are nice. He is good for the shoer, stands quietly tied, and is easy to load and haul. He has a cut on his left hind leg that is healing nicely. Asking $5500.
