Description:
AQHA # 5757709. Silver is a dark gray 3 year old stallion that has not bred a mare to date (7/7/19). He carries the blue roan gene also from his blue roan dam. He is N/G for the gray gene, meaning he carries 1 copy of the gray gene and will pass that on 50% of the time to his offspring...depending on what colored mare you breed him to! He has been left as a stallion for the purpose of becoming a breeding stallion since he was kicked in the knee as a 3 month old foal. His sire, Spooky Rip was my main breeding stallion for 23 years!! This colt is not guaranteed sound to ride, but is breeding sound. He has not taken a lame step since fall 2016 when he healed as much as could be from the accident. He does have some swelling around the front of his knee and his whole leg looks offset from the knee down. I have not had him x-rayed his knee yet, but will do that by fall 2019 if I still intend to sell him. Home website is www.brokenbackranchqh.com

He’s easy to work with, a no non-sense personality. Halter broke, loads easily and trims with no problems. Does not have a current Coggins yet, but can easily be drawn up. He is double bred Spooky Rip, which means tons of foundation quarter horse bloodlines, but is not foundation papered. Doc Bar, Leo, Blue Valentine, Holly Joe King, Sugar Bars, and just on his last line of his papers, Lowry Star. His sire, Spooky Rip is 5 panel N/N.
