Quigley is a really nice rope horse he is finished on the head side, heel side, and you can steer stop and breakaway on him too! Quigley is also a finished ranch gelding. He is safe for any age or level of rider including children and beginner ropers. He is a 15 year old grade gelding and he stands 15.3 hands tall.

Quigley is gentle and very easy to get along with. He has a great handle and rides the same for both kids and adults. He has been hauled countless miles and has seen it all. He is the been there and bought the T-shirt type of gelding. Nothing shakes him and he is the same horse every time you climb aboard even if he has been sitting. He is extremely solid and safe and he rides the same anywhere you go whether you are in the arena or in the pasture, or whether you are at home or have hauled out somewhere.

Quigley is an ideal fit for a beginner or youth roper, but will fit a higher numbered roper as well that wants to haul something solid with no worries. He knows his job and puts you where you need to be every time. Will run slow or fast cattle and scores great. He is always perfect in the box whether you run 1 or 50. He would be ideal for Youth Rodeo,Jr High or High School Rodeo.

He has been used for all aspects of ranch work and is great to go do a job on. We have used him to do everything from doctoring cattle to sorting in the pens and using him to catch and load cattle. He has been used to gather by both adults and children and has no issue riding away from other horses.

If you are in search of a gelding that is safe for the whole family and that can be ranched on or roped off of in any aspect then this is your guy. He is versatile and always consistent and a pleasure to ride and rope on. Quigley is easy to catch, easy to haul, and is well mannered. No silliness and no bad habits. He gets along with others in the pasture and is good for the farrier. He does have a small calcium deposit on his front left, but it is not something that has ever bothered him. He has never gotten sore and has never required any maintenance.
