Description:
Levi is a sweet, extremely quiet and well broke red roan gelding. He sells as grade, although by the looks of him he definitely had some nice papers at one time. Levi is 11 years old and 14.2 hh, with lots of shape and plenty of chrome. He had the most beautiful long mane until he rubbed it out recently, but it will grow back. He had years of cutting training as a young horse, and has been ranch ridden the last several years. Levi is extremely gentle and has never offered to buck, rear, bite, kick, or take off, and would be suitable for advanced beginners on up. He is excellent out in the pasture, is naturally low headed with a soft mouth, and hunts a stop. Levi has a good handle, knows his leads, has nice smooth gaits, and will work a gate and move off of your leg. He is laid back and rides on a loose rein, content to walk quietly all day long but will easily step into a trot or lope when asked. Levi can be ridden by himself or in a large group of horses with no problem. He will leave the group willingly and will happily lead or follow. He has also been ridden along the side of the road and in traffic and is not bothered by it. Levi has an old injury to his ankle that occurred when he was much younger. He does not limp on it but he does have a noticeable big ankle on his left front. Levi has excellent ground manners, stands quietly tied, and is easy to catch, load, haul, and shoe. $1500.
