Description:
2000 acre ranch looking for a basic ranch hand. We run cow/calf and also manage various wildlife on the ranch. Experience with equipment operation, cattle and horses a plus. We prefer someone who rides well and can rope when needed. This is a riding position 20% of the time or less but we do gather, rotate, and work our cattle horseback. Other primary responsibilities will be assisting current employees with daily chores and projects such as fencing, mowing, road work, wildlife management, etc. The ranch is located in the area of Wapanucka, Oklahoma. Looking for someone with a steady work history and 3 verifiable "work related" references as they will be checked. Random drug testing performed. Must have a good work ethic and have a clean driving record to be insurable to operate ranch vehicles when needed. No housing available on the ranch so will need to live in the area. $300/month housing assistance after 90 days for the right employee. Starting pay is $480/week.
