Description:
Looking for an experienced horse trainer to specialize in developing Ranch Horses, Ranch Horse Versatility, Cutting, and Roping. Preferably willing and capable to work with yearlings, young ranch horses, and seasoned horses. Colt starting is not a must. Also, willing to consider a career. Regular responsibilities include working within a cow calf operation daily on horseback and full time training. Duties may include, all phases of ground work, care, maintenance, assistance during breeding season with mares and stallions, riding, training, and some show responsibilities. Farrier work is not a must and will or can be provided. Experience and knowledge with horse conditioning, showing, sales, marketing, and are preferable.



Working knowledge of horsemanship, the mechanics of training, and care for horses is required. Most of the horse will be ranch raised, bred on the ranch. Will start all horses in a cutting program, developing sound mechanics, tracking calves, and working the flag while working with the ranch and responsibility to horse while focusing each and the training best suited to the horse, the success of the horse, and the horse program.



Pay will depend on experience.
