Description:
This is a lightly used handmade solid shank curb bit made by long time Colorado maker Carl Ellerman. It is marked CE Bits inside one cheek piece and 1992 inside the other cheek piece. The bit was mounted by David Hunt with nickel silver spots. The slobber bar on the bit is slightly bent as can be seen in the pictures. The bit is not bent, broken, or repaired. This would be a nice bit to add to a collection or to use.

Measurements: Cheek Pieces 9”, Mouth (between cheeks) 5”, Port Height 2 ⅛”, Bars Diameter 7/16”, Weight 12.8 ounces
