Description:
We have been doing custom grazing since 2010 with one cattle owner taking all our available space. It now appears that we may need to take cattle from other sources. Pasture provided on both improved irrigated pastures and native range on land located between Broken Bow and Ainsworth, Nebraska. Some rye pasture possibly available for early season grazing. In the past we have typically taken cattle in from approximately April 20 until Thanksgiving.



We rotate pastures regularly. Cattle accessing fresh pastures regularly are typically good condition. Our desire would be to run larger herds of at least 200 cows each. Smaller herd probably can’t be accommodated unless you can agree with other owners to run them together with same bulls, etc.



We are ideally looking for summer grazing from April - November. We would consider a year-around situation but that would be definitely second to seasonal grazing. Most cow operators in this area have cheaper cornstalks available anyway.



As I post this ad it’s September 14. Current cattle for 2018 are still on the place and will be until around November 1-15. If you wanted to take a look at the operation that could be arranged.
