Description:
This is a used pair of handmade double mounted spurs made by long time bit and spur maker Frank A. “Buddy” Knight from Marfa, Texas. They are marked BK 112 inside the heel bands. Buddy is listed in the Modern Maker book by Ned and Jody Martin on page 185. Buddy is mainly self-taught and has been building bits and spurs since 1965. The spurs are steel and are beginning to rust. They are mounted eight pieces of nickel silver. There is a little play in the rowels but not much. All four buttons are mounted with Mexican coins. These are a nice pair of spurs to wear or add to a collection.

Measurements: Heel Band Width 1 ¼”, Shanks 1 ¾”, Rowels 1 ¼”, Rowel Points 10, Heel Opening 3 ⅜”, Weight of both Spurs 1 pound 6 ounces
