Description:
Arco is a 9 yr old registered gelding. He stands 15.2 hands, 1100 lbs and has excellent breeding. He has great feet and is good to shoe. No soundness issues, vet checks welcomed at buyers expense. He was started slow at heading and is excellent in the box. Leaves flat and stays very quiet even after a lot of steers. I have roped on him at brandings for the last two springs. He is gentle around ropes and the ground crew whether you use nordforks or head/heel. He’s very well rounded- I team rope on him, brand, and use him as a dude horse for trail rides into the Lee Metcalfe Wilderness. I lead my 3 yr old twins on him, he has an excellent disposition. He is an easy keeper- we turn him out on grass with 15 other mares/geldings year around. I had his teeth done in 2017. He hauls well. I have taken him from SW Montana to Southern California for the last two years to team rope on him for two weeks in the winter. This is great gelding that has been my "go to horse" for the last two years. I’m selling him because I have three younger horses coming up that are much further behind and I don’t have time for all of them. Video available! Asking $12,500 obo
