He’s an 11 yo seal brown AQHA gelding that is as gorgeous and gentle as they come. “Smokey” stands 15.1 and is very stout, he weighs in around 1175 lbs. He’s an absolute pleasure to be around and is very simple and uncomplicated to ride, not to mention he has the smoothest jog and slow lope that you could ever ask for. “Smokey” has been used for just about everything from ranch work, to beginners team penning, trails, obstacle challenges, kids play-day events, you name it! He rides quiet out by himself or is just as at ease in a large group of horses; he does not spook or shy when he is put in new places or is introduced to new things. You can leave him off for long periods of time and he does not get fresh, he rides just the same as he did the last time you rode him. This beautiful gelding is extremely versatile and will work for a wide variety of riders, he is definitely the kind of horse that will make up for any confidence that you may lack! He stands great for the farrier, loves baths, and has a great, in-your-pocket type personality. “Smokey” is the kind of horse some people search high and low to find, and don’t let go of once they have. He has been very well taken care of and is 100% sound and sane, he is ready to make someone happy for years to come!
