If you have been searching for that one pony that can absolutely do it all, then you have found him! Coco is one in a million, the type that rarely comes up for sale. He is safe for any age or experience level, dependable, extremely well broke, cute as can be, and with the best temperament and absolutely zero pony attitude or bad habits. And to top it all off he is a flashy paint. Coco is 13.2hh and stout enough to carry an adult, with a cute head, beautiful neck, and a kind eye. He is 16 years old but don’t let that scare you, he has always been extremely well taken care of, is clean legged and sound with no health or lameness issues. Coco has done just about everything in his life: jumping, dressage, cross country, eventing, ranch/trail riding, working cattle, carrying a flag in parades, and running barrels and poles. It doesn’t matter how long you let him sit, he will saddle and ride off gentle. Coco is gentle enough for the smallest and most inexperienced rider but has plenty of life left that a more experienced rider can totally enjoy him as well. He rides just as good bareback with a halter as he does with a saddle and bridle, and never tries to take advantage of his rider. We are selling Coco on consignment for a family that has owned him for the last three years, and he taught their 10 year old daughter how to ride. Before that he was being shown in dressage, cross country, eventing, and pony hunter, up to 2’9”. Coco is lifetime registered with the United States Dressage Federation and the United States Equestrian Federation and Hunter Jumper Association. His registered name is “Paint Me Proud”. He has won so many ribbons it is impossible to even count. He loves being a show pony but would be just as happy as a ranch or pleasure horse as well. He loves attention and needs a new child and family to spoil him. Coco is extremely quiet and there is nothing at all that bothers him or spooks him. He has been hauled so much that he has basically seen it all. Coco is a pleasure to ride out in the pasture, crosses water with no problem, and will go up, over or through anything you point him at. He is a very fancy mover and has great form over jumps, and has never offered to refuse one. Coco has smooth gates, will neck rein or direct rein, rides on a loose rein or with contact, is automatic on his leads, and will never go any faster than his rider wants him to. We have drug logs and swung a rope on him, pushed and sorted cattle but never roped anything off of him. Coco is fine barefoot or with shoes, gets along great with other horses, and is very easy to catch anywhere. He will sidepass, open gates, works off your leg and is light mouthed. He has excellent ground manners, stands quietly tied, clips, and is easy to load, haul and shoe. Coco is an easy keeper and content in a stall or a pasture. He can be ridden out by himself or with other horses, will easily lead or follow, and doesn’t mind being separated from the group.
