Description:
This is a vintage spotted one ear shaped ear bridle with an old bit and curb strap probably from the 1930’s or 1940’s. There is no maker mark on either the bridle or the bit. The browbands are more common and it is harder to find the one ear headstalls. The cheek piece buckles are marked with the X mark. The leather on the headstall is flexible but it is fragile. There is an old repair on one cheek. The buckles were originally sewn and someone repaired with a copper rivet. There are some spots missing. It is all original except for the leather loops. This would make a nice old bridle to display with your collection. We are selling this for display only since vintage leather does not hold up well to wear.
