Description:
Ruby is a 9 year old AQHA mare. Dawn Del Cielo #5281619.



She has been a first horse for several little girls and a school horse for the last 3 years at Millbrooke Equestrian in Parker. She’s awesome in the arena and is good out on the trail. Crosses water. Trailers easily. Great for the farrier! According to the owner at Millbrooke, she also does gymkhana events, pair pace, cross country, jumping and team penning; we haven’t tried her at these events.



Her left eye is cloudy from a trailer accident many years ago. Before I purchased her, I spoke to veterinarian Dr. Luke. He rates her vision at a 20% loss and doesn’t believe it will get worse.



We have two difficulties. First, we ride on the Highline Canal, an urban trail, and Ruby gets nervous with all the bicycles whizzing behind her. Second, my gelding is mounting her.



I’ve been working with AQHA to transfer her paperwork, but I can’t guarantee this will happen so I’m selling her as grade.



I’d be happy to send you video of her.



We would also consider trading her for a head-down, older trail gelding.
