Description:
Slim is a 7 year old stunning dappled gray quarter pony gelding standing at a very stout 13.1 hands. Slim is an outstanding ranch pony with a great handle. You can rope off of him, doctor off of him, drag calves to the fire, and he will watch a cow some. He has also been exposed to the playday events however he is not a finished playday pony. We have also breakawayed calves on him and tracked the heeling dummy and some slow cattle on the heel side. He rides great both in and out of the arena and is not spooky outside. Slim rides just like a big horse and can be ridden by children or adults he rides the same either way. He is gentle and will babysit a small unconfident child or will do more if asked of him and go do a job. Slim is very patient and does not get hot or get an attitude and has absolutely no buck. He handles new atmospheres, loudspeakers, and commotion great and would make an excellent youth ranch rodeo or Jr rodeo pony. Slim neck reins, has a great stop, lopes circles and picks up both leads, and he packs his head right where he should. He is good with his feet, ties perfectly, and hauls well. Slim is a solid and eye catching pony that is gentle and handy. He is the hard to find kind and is the real deal.
