Description:
We are accepting applications for new interns for both this season (now through fall) and the future (winter through spring). We are a horse operation providing high end ranch horses for sale to the public.

Services we provide are:

 Clinics

 Colt starting

 Cattle handling

 Horsemanship

 Training our ranch horses for outside sales



HORSEMANSHIP



Will be the main focus of this internship, but there will also be cutting and roping to take part in as well as chores like grooming horses and picking manure.



APPLICANTS



Should be confident in their ability to ride (this is very important) and I’m not talking about training, that would be an added plus. What I am concerned with is that you have the ability to go with a horse if the horse feels the need to move and not pull on them. Our goal is to be able to teach training techniques, however it is difficult to do that with someone who isn’t comfortable in there riding ability. We want the person in this position to succeed and in order to do that an intermediate to advanced level of riding knowledge is needed.

If you have any knowledge/skill with video equipment, that would be a plus.

Daily tasks will require you to work at least four horses (daily) with the opportunity to work many more.

Group housing is provided as well as lunch five days a week. Work Schedule is 5 days a week from 7am to 5pm



OPPORTUNITY



Depending on skill level, Interns may have the opportunity to make money on outside client horses.

Learn all aspects of the horse business Opportunity to ride as many horses as you can
