Description:
This is a used Crockett Renalde Matlock Rose hackamore. Crockett Renalde is listed in Bit and Spur Makers in the Texas Tradition by Ned and Jody Martin. It is marked inside one cheek piece and also marked ST. The cheeks appear stainless but hold a magnet. It is mounted with a nickel silver domed engraved concho and engraved brass down the cheeks. There are minor marks on the hackamore from use. It is not bent, broken, or repaired. It has a bicycle chain noseband that was recently covered in skirting leather and laced with latigo. This would be a nice hackamore to use or to add to your collection.
