Description:
Fancy ranch horse that everyone can get along with and enjoy. Our 7 year old daughter rides him with confidence and yet Dad can go do a job on him and enjoy his day as well. Just a 7 year old coming into the prime of his life. Good bone, sound as u can ask one to be and pretty too! He is the type of horse that can take a steady hard job and hold up, yet you can ride him once a year and he can handle that kind of prosperity as well. Sure footed in the mountains and willingly goes anywhere you ask. He has had a real job on the ranch and been a million miles in the steep Idaho mountains. We have branded calves, doctored, and even headed a few steers in the arena. It wouldn’t take much to make a head horse if that’s the route you chose. He has a good work ethic and willing disposition that makes him pleasant to train. Laid back and pretty easy going. He is comfortable being in the lead yet he doesn’t get upset if he gets left behind either. Definitely the type that a weekend trail rider could just ride on occasion and still trust him to be safe. He rides one handed in about any bridle and is soft in the face. Side passes, opens gates, and works off his hind end well. Good to shoe, stands tied quietly, hobbles, will load in any trailer, good to catch, bath, etc. Overall hassle free to have around. Drifter is a gelding we raised so we can tell you his entire history and know every detail about him. He is in good health, is sound, freshly shod, and ready to roll. This gelding has lots of years of use ahead and could fill many different positions. He will be a great investment for the right family for sure!!!
