Description:
A gentle, sweet girl with a big motor, but only when you ask her for it - she’s not dead head, though. She earns her oats working on our ranch. Everything from goats to sheep to cattle - she’ll rope, drag, work gates, hit the brush (as hard and fast as you need her to), etc. She’s good in the rocks. Dogs don’t bother her. She’s cowy and will track one and get you where you need to be. She has a good stop on her and can turn around good. And she can fly! If you need to go and head something, even if your a little behind, she can get you there to turn them! We think she might be really good in breakaway, poles (she does tremendous flying lead changes without needing to be cued), or barrels - but we haven’t ever tried her on them (we never seem to get any time to go and play!). With a great grand daddy of Steakin Six on one side and Doc Bar, and Cutter Bill on the other - she’s an athlete! We were told she had been heeled on in the arena, but we haven’t had her in the arena. She is gentle, gentle, stands tied,stands for the farrier, baths, worming, she will walk out or back out of the trailer, whatever you ask her to do. No buck, rear, or any of that silliness - she’s the same if you ride her everyday or let her stand for 2 months - unload her, pull her up, step on her, and go - even if you need to lope off as soon as you step on - she’s that solid. She does have some superficial scars on her legs that were there when we bought her, they do not affect her and she’s never taken a lame step. 100% sound - vet checks welcome.
