Description:
This is a used pair of handmade Arizona Batwing Chaps made by the legendary saddle maker Bob Marrs of Amarillo, Texas. Bob has been featured in many publications including Old Cowboy Saddles & Spurs by Gretchen and Mike Graham. There was also an article about him in the March 2010 issue of Western Horseman. They are marked Bob Marrs, Maker, and Amarillo Texas on the belt. These chaps are made out of about 4 ounce chap leather smooth side out and are trimmed in the same leather chap leather. The legs are step in and they have a tie below the knee. They have a skirting leather belt, two outside pockets, triple thick yokes, eight Gary Wiggins conchos, Mike Gillespie belt buckle and a Chad Mock tie ring. All of the hardware is maker marked. There are no holes or repairs but they are a little dirty from use. These would be a great pair of using chaps or a nice pair to add to a collection.
