Description:
FIVERS FUNNY FACE aka "Badger" is a registered AQHA 2010 lined-back dun gelding. He is 15 hh, 1200 lbs, big feet and legs, smooth, strong, and broke. Badger is a "get on and go" type of gelding. You can leave him sit for months and go jump back on. He is the sweetest guy and loves hanging out with you and he has a great personality. He is the type of gelding that plays with your hair while you are grooming him. He’s just a sweetie. Badger has EXCELLENT ground manners, stands tied quietly, excellent for the farrier, easy to catch (comes to you in the pasture), and gets along great with other horses. Badger is a laid back guy that isn’t lazy, but is very quiet and sensible. In the arena, he picks up leads with ease, has a quiet, sitting jog, a smooth as can be long trot, and has a balanced slide stop and back up. This horse is push button. ANYONE who can get up there can ride this horse. He is a true gentleman. He neck reins, moves off of leg, side passes, lateral work, opens/closes gates, and has a fancy handle. He is as broke as they come. He would be great for Western Riding classes, Trail, Ranch Versatility, Western Dressage, Team Roping, Team Sorting, Queen, Drill, or Mounted Shooting. He is suitable for all levels of riding both in the arena and out on trail/ranch. Outside of the arena- Badger knows all aspects of ranch work, including gathering (leaving other horses and the barn), separating pairs, branding, doctoring, and working the feed lot/pen lots. This horse knows his stuff with cattle. He can cut, sort, and stays quiet, calm, and takes care of the rider. He moves out nicely on the trail, has a smooth ground covering walk and long trot, has been in tough country, sage brush, cliffs, etc. and handles any terrain perfectly. He does take his time going up and down hill or in the tougher terrain. He also goes in and thru water, has seen deer, antelope, fowl, coyotes, etc., and is great to overnight camp. He hobbles, high-lines, trailers perfect, and stands quietly next to horses. He is a joy to trail ride on and you can pony him or pony off of him. He is just an angel to be around and ride. Badger is the whole package. He is healthy, sound, and utd on feet, teeth, worming, and Spring shots. Coggins available. Delivery available.
