Description:
Ike is a big, pretty gray gelding that is really nice to ride. He is very well broke, doesn’t freshen up and is gentle. For a big horse, he is very smooth to ride. Has a slow smooth jog that you can sit and a comfortable lope. He will slow lope on a loose rein is light in the bridle. He just has a good feel to him that is enjoyable to ride. He is a finished head horse that is easy to warm up, and easy to ride. He is excellent in the box, runs to the hip and gives you a good shot each time. He logs nicely and has a good face. We feel he is best suited for a #3-4 header or even a #5 who ropes in the #8-#10 ropings. This horse has plenty of speed but we feel he isn’t quick enough for the higher number ropings. He is a big pretty gelding that the whole family can enjoy. He would be an awesome practice horse, or all around using horse. He has clean legs and is 100% sound. He has never been injected and does not require any maintenance. Absolutely never offered to buck, and isn’t cinchy. No round penning required, just step on and ride. No vices or issues. Rides great outside, easy to catch, ties, loads and hauls excellent. Great ground manners. Good disposition rides honest and tries to please his rider. This is a super nice gelding and you will not find a better head horse for the money.

*Ike is registered but we have never received his AQHA papers. We have a copy and do know his information pedigree, date of birth, but is selling as a grade horse. If we do get them, we will gladly forward them, but no guarantees.
