COOK / PACKER / WRANGLER WANTED – NW Colorado. Big Game Horseback Outfitter in NW Colorado has a position open starting the first part of June 2018 and ends mid-November 2018. For the summer months the job entails cooking at the base camp cabins for staff (4 to 6). Starting in September the job is cooking in a pack-in wall tent base camp for 7 to 10 people or alternating with the Base camp cook and cooking at the cabins for 15 to 20 folks. During the summer, the job also includes helping with ranch work, getting stock and gear ready for season, as well as packing gear in to the high country, clearing trails and getting camps ready for season. Having horse/mule/packing skills is required. Good work ethic, strong people skills a must. Absolutely no dogs (or cats). Non-smoker. Looking for an honest, ethical person who wants to be part of a great team. Meals are provided and housing in either a cabin or wall tent. Base camp has electricity and shower facilities.
