Description:
The Human Resources Generalist will be responsible for providing services and support in multiple functional areas of HR for several private companies.



Job Duties and Responsibilities:

-Onboard new employees and get all paper work over to Payroll Company. All new hire Drug Screening for Non-DOT and DOT.



-Reviews benefits with employees and process enrollment, cancellation, or changes.



-Organizes and manages annual open enrollment communications and election process.



-Maintains and distributes list of new and cancelled employees under each benefit plan.



-Verifies billing accuracy and processes for payment.



-Administers COBRA for group health plans



-Manage recruitment and selection, promotions, transfers, contract negotiation and administration, affirmative action/EEO compliance, job classification, performance evaluation, and employee relations in accordance with quality management principles and overall objectives of the organization.



-Maintains all employee and applicant documentation as dictated by Federal and State laws



-Works with Management staff with: Interviews, screens and recruits job applicants to fill entry-level, professional and technical job openings.



-Conducts new hire orientation.



-Conducts exit interviews, analyzes data and makes recommendations to the management team for corrective action and continuous improvement.

Responds to employee relation issues such as employee complaints, harassment allegations and civil right complaints.



-Coaches, counsels and guides managers before executing employee disciplinary actions.



-Manages and tracks all employee disciplinary action



-Maintains and processes all unemployment Notices of Entitlements and potential changes in a timely, efficiently manner.



-Represents the company for any unemployment claims.



-Maintains employee personnel files



-Ensures compliance with USCIS Form I-9 Employment Eligibility verification



-Understand DOT regulations and filing system



-Perform other HR duties assigned by the Office Manager





Job Requirements

Hours of operations Monday – Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm

Travel is local during the business day

Thorough knowledge of local, state and Federal laws pertaining to HR is required

Demonstrate ability to work effectively in a team environment

Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Work, Outlook) and Quick Books for Payroll

Minimum Qualifications

A Bachelor’s Degree and 3 years of HR experience; or

A Master’s Degree in HR Management and 2 years of HR Experience

Oil Field Business Knowledge not required but highly recommended
