SC SWEET BLUE RAEMIE ’Ramie’ is a 2008 red roan mare standing 14.3 hands. This mare has the whole package and more. She is a finished cutter and sorter, has been used outside, and is as gentle and broke as they come.

She is by Laredo Blue an own son of Mecom Blue and out of an own daughter of Smart Little Lena. Ramie is catty and a gorgeous mover on a cow. She is extremely broke and correct with a lot of body control. You can put a child on her back and ride her slow and gentle or you can turn her on and do a job.

This is a really nice solid mare that anyone can get along with. Take her to the show ring or ask her to do a job and she will give you her all. Perfect for weekend cuttings, sortings, SHOT shows, ranch versatilty or working cowhorse, and would make an outstanding heel, calf, or breakaway horse. She has a ton of ability and the looks and mind to go along with it.

Ramie was started as a cutter when she was two and shown twice. She was trained and shown by her owner who had to withdraw from the industry while she was in her showing prime due to his health issues. She was used as a broodmare for several years and has had three gorgeous colts all of which have a lot of shape and cow. In the past few years Ramie has been shown in sortings, used for ranch work, sorted tons of cattle both in the show ring and on the ranch. She has been kept tuned in and tuned up and is ready to roll.

She has had cattle roped on her outside and she has worked alongside dogs. Nothing phases her. Rides the same outside the arena as in the arena.

No quirks or vices. She is clean legged and sound. She is an easy keeper and is not marish.
