Description:
sale pending----Outstanding bit by the late E.F. Field of California. The Field family has been in the silver and bit business for five generations. Mr. Field passed in 2011 I believe and his bits are collectible, as well as being used. It is marked E.G. FIELD 2005. Features 7 1/8" cheeks and 5 1/4" mouth. The mouth was built to have a slight rotation from front to back, maybe a 1/4". The history of the Field family is in the Martin’s book on the makers of California bits. In very good condition. We pay shipping within the 48 states. We accept most credit cards, Pay Pal, money order, or check.
