Ranch Couple Wanted



Cattle Ranch in South Western Oregon is looking for a couple for the following positions.



Cowboy

Most cattle work is done horseback. Experience and roping skills are required. Doctoring, Calving, Branding, Moving Cattle, Feeding in winter, etc. Ranch is rugged and requires a lot of time horseback. Position is full time April-November and part time December-March. 6 using horses allowed and you have the opportunity to ride colts in winter.



Barn Worker/Groundskeeper

Care for owners horses, exercise,grooming, doctoring. Schedule all farrier and vet needs. Ride with owners and family during their visits in the summer. Maintain barn area and buildings. Irrigate horse paddocks. Manage owners house yard and flower gardens. Mowing, watering flowers,etc.



Position provides housing/ utilities, paid vacation, beef.



This position would be best suited for a couple without children as both positions require various hours and long days. Smoking and drugs not tolerated.
