Description:
This 63-acre estate lies just 5 minutes west of Gunnison, Colorado. There are 7 beautiful homes resting on the banks of the Gunnison River where the family and their guests fish, relax and enjoy the mountain serenity. This property has been kept in pristine fashion for decades and will be kept the same way with the new management that we seek. Resting in the river valley, this property is in an amazing location abound with wildlife and scenic views. This portion of the property would be considered the estate side adjoining a very large landholding held by the same family. The responsibilities will be entirely for the upkeep of this immaculate estate and the private use of the family.

As the Ranch Manager of this property, you will be responsible for the complete oversight of the ranch with the owner. The tasks include but are not limited to:

· Maintain a working and open relationship with owners and keep them knowledgeable about the ranches dealings

· Entertain the guests of the River Ranch and insure they have a great stay

· Airport pick up and drop off of vehicles

· Provide insight and wisdom as to future projects to make things run better

· Assess and repair anything that breaks or inquire and alert owners of options to fix broken or disrupted items

· Provide feed and water for wild game animals

· Manage lawn care crew

· Maintain multiple vehicles and equipment including snowmobiles and 4 Wheelers

· Maintain garage and keep it organized

· Maintain annual inspections of vehicles and have them clean with full tank of gas prior to arrival of guests

· Maintain all electrical and plumbing equipment on property indoor and outdoor

· Maintain and plant flower beds

· Guide fishing trips

· Operate heavy machinery to keep up infrastructure, watershed areas and the property

· Removal of dead brush and trees

· Complete lake and river bridge maintenance

Assistant Ranch Manager:

· Open communication with owners

· Maintain interior of homes

· Prepare for guest arrival

· Keep all rooms clean and organized

· Complete grocery shopping prior to guests’ arrival

· Manage and schedule house cleaning staff

· Manage and schedule chef and staff for all meals while guests are present

· Assist with flower beads and lawns

Qualifications:

· Prior Estate and Ranch Management experience

· Excellent Communication and people skills

· Ability to operate heavy equipment (preferred)

· Ability to work long hours during guest stays and willing to work weekends

· Willing to work in a harsh winter environment

· Prior experience managing crews

· Fly fishing experience (preferred)

· Cooking experience (preferred)
