“Joey” is an absolutely stunning buckskin overo paint gelding the whole family can enjoy! Turning thirteen this year, Joey is one of those easy to look at, quiet, uncomplicated geldings that most anyone can ride. He has a natural low head set and is a slow legged smooth mover. He has mainly been ridden outside, on the trails and on the ranch. He has been used to gather, pen and sort and has also worked feeder pens. He will watch a cow! Joey knows how to help you open gates too. Joey is not spooky. He is easy to get along with and will go where asked. He is acquainted with dogs running underfoot, farm equipment, other livestock and children. Ride him double, bareback, in a halter and lead rope. Joey’s done it all. Standing 14.2 hands, this guy is literally as wide as he is tall. Just an all-around nice horse here who is easy to manage, both from the saddle and on the ground. Joey has no vices and is an easy keeper. Clean legged and sound. He has nice, hard black feet and is currently barefoot. Vet checks are welcomed and encouraged. Sells grade.
