Description:
A position on one of our ranches within our sizeable South East Wyoming based cattle operation is available immediately. We run primarily commercial Red Angus cows, develop our own heifers and put up irrigated native hay. The ranch itself offers a nice set of buildings and working facilities. We run fairly modern equipment, trucks and trailers. While four wheelers are on hand when necessary we do the majority of our cattle work horseback.



Responsibilities would include but are not limited to:

• Caring for and calving 1000 + mother cows.

• Developing and calving 250 + heifers a year.

• Water development and maintenance.

• Fencing construction and maintenance.

• Irrigating and some haying, some haying is custom done.

• Maintaining ranch property, buildings, roads and equipment.

• Working with Ranch Owners and Management to ensure an effective and timely pasture management schedule is executed.

o While group health coverage is not provided, salary will be set to where the employee could acquire insurance individually.

• Full workers compensation insurance is provided.

• 4 Bedroom Ranch House with Water, Electricity and Heat provided.

• Pasture and or feed for personal horses - discussed during interview.
