Description:
I am looking for a long-term opportunity involving ranch work with horses, continuing and improving on that career path and skill-set. I am looking to stay in Texas at the time, but will entertain offers from other states, with favor to those in the South, or Southwest.



To name a few of my skills:



-Animal care and maintenance, including: Horses, cows, bison, goats. -Outdoor guiding and field navigation. -Butchering and preparing meat. -Tractor operation. -Chainsaw and tree work. -Property Maintenance. -Home Remodeling. -Some Welding(It has been awhile, could use refresher course). -Customer Service. -Saddle and tack repair, maintenance and crafting. -Small engine and machine maintenance and repair. Working with minimal direction and taking initiative. -Working unsupervised in all variations of weather.







Concerning horses, I’ve had the opportunities to work with a lot of problematic animals. Horses that kicked, bucked, injured people, spooked easily, and had good experiences with that. I have worked with and ridden a few colts and never had an issue.







My skill-set is pretty broad, as I’ve had the chance to do a bit of everything. If there is something I don’t know, I’m more than willing and capable to learn.







Clean background and driving record. Moderate drinker and smoker, nothing more.







The offer of housing or lodging along with the job will be helpful, as relocation is likely, but I’m willing to entertain all offers, just ask.
