Description:
This is a rare solid sterling silver cowboy hat pendant or charm marked CHAS L SAMPLE, Hollywood Cal, and sterling. The late Charlie Sample went to work for Edward Bohlin in 1925 and was well known as a master engraver for Bohlin. He is listed in Bit and Spur Makers in the Vaquero Tradition by Ned and Jody Martin. In 1948 he stared the Charles Sample Company where he made buckles, rings, bolo ties, bits and spurs. Charlie passed away in 2003 at the age of 100. This would be nice to wear or a rare piece to add to a collection.

Measurements: Approximately 1 ¼” x 1”, Weight .2 ounces or 6 grams weighed on a postal scale
