Description:
Mater is a 7 yo AQHA registered red roan. He has been put through training in many different areas and is looking to find someone to finish in the direction of their choice. I bought him as a beginning barrel horse, but found he is great on trails, with cows, and kids. Anything I have thrown at him he takes with ease. He has pulled a tire, had a rope thrown off of him, and chased cows. He does need an intermediate rider due to his young age. He has no buck, bite, trailers, ties, stands for shoer. I have only owned him for a year and it breaks my heart to sell him but I must due to my father having cancer and I need to provide care for him while he is in chemotherapy. My 9 year old daughter has rode him on barrels and trail rides along with my 4 yr old son. He is a very calm horse and could even be used for lessons. I think he would make an amazing junior rodeo horse since he is all around. He is also a very reliable trail horse. I am asking $4000 obo in hopes he will go to a loving home.
