Description:
Hoot ’POCO TOO SMART’ is a 2005 AQHA sorrel gelding standing at 15 hands. They do not come thicker built or bigger boned than this gelding. He is extremely well papered and it shows in his abilities. He is a very broke and fancy ranch versatility gelding with a handle like a cutter. Big stop, nice short lope, and great turnaround.

He has been used on the ranch and in the arena and show pen. He is the definition of been there done that. Have worked the cow sale on him numerous times and used him to day work. You can run to and rope something, load into the trailer he pulls great, and he will hold and work a tight rope he has had countless doctored off of him. You can sort on him on the ranch in the pens or haul him to a ranch sorting and compete on him. He will watch and cut a cow and he will box and fence a cow.

Would be a great candidate for SHOT. He would also excel as a junior rodeo or high school rodeo calf horse or breakaway horse. He can break fast, will drag it when you deliver, and already works a rope. Has been ridden by kids that have horse experience. He is gentle and has never offered to buck no matter how long he has sat. His only quirk is he is sensitive with his ears you have to unbuckle the bridle to put it on instead of slipping it over his ears. Other than this he has no vices, quirks, or bad habits. Great for the farrier and trailers perfectly. He does require maintenance and shoes as he has navicular and does get sore, but with the proper care is perfectly usable and will excel as he has been in the arena or on the ranch.
