Description:
Danny is a true all around horse, with a show record a mile long starting from when he was a yearling, and he excels at anything you ask of him. He is finished in Western Pleasure, Hunter Under Saddle, Showmanship, Horsemanship, Halter and Hunt Seat Equitation, he has been ridden out on trails and on the ranch, he has done a little dressage, and has given lessons to dozens of kids and beginners. He would make an excellent foxhunting prospect. He has a ton of show miles and has seen and done it all. The lights, sounds, and sights do not bother him. Danny has the best personality of any horse I’ve ever owned, and absolutely loves people. He can be in the middle of eating and if he sees you walk out to his pasture he will leave his food and come over to see you and beg for attention. Danny 11 years old and 15.3hh, double registered AQHA and APHA, and has been shown in both associations. He has a long list of Championships, reserve Championships, wins and places. I currently have a copy of his AQHA papers and am working on getting his APHA papers. Danny is registered as “Zip Win N Flirt” AQHA #4785690 and APHA #877,857. He has 1 APHA ROM and 29 APHA points, and 17 AQHA points. He also has many other wins and awards but I do not have the full list yet. He is HYPP N/N. Danny is a beautiful mover with smooth gaits, has an excellent one handed neck rein, will sidepass, work off your leg, and open and shut gates. He will ride western on a loose rein and can easily be collected and ridden with contact for someone wanting to ride English. Danny has been out of the shown world for years but I think he could easily be tuned up and go back to showing. He has the best ground manners of any horse on the property, stands quietly tied, loads with no problem, and is perfect for the shoer and the vet. Danny is a pleasure to ride out in the pasture, crosses water with no problem, and isn’t spooky. He is gentle for kids and beginner riders, and has never offered to buck, rear, bite, kick or take off. He is the same horse every time you ride him, and does not need to be ridden every day to stay gentle. Danny is good minded and kind and takes excellent care of his rider. He will not take advantage of a less experienced rider, and will step it up for someone who knows what they are doing. He rides just as good bareback with a halter as he does with a saddle and bridle. Danny is laid back but responsive, and will adjust himself to the level of his rider. He can be ridden by himself or with other horses, and doesn’t mind being separated from the group. He has also been ridden alongside the road and in traffic and isn’t bothered by it.
