Description:
This is used handmade harness leather slide ear headstall with a used handmade marked buckle made by two well-known makers. The headstall was made by bit, spur and saddle maker Bruce Cheaney from Gainesville, Texas and the buckle was made by Pat Ray Castleberry from Whitesboro, Texas. The headstall is marked CHEANEY and the buckle is marked PRC. The headstall is made from heavy harness leather and the bit attaches with latigo tie strings. The headstall has new tie strings. The edges are beveled and hand rubbed. The buckle is steel and is mounted with a nickel silver cutter at the top and engraved copper on the sides. The buckle is attached to the headstall with copper rivets.

Measurements: Headstall Length 35” to 45 ½”, Strap Width ⅝”, Leather Thickness ¼”, Leather Weight 14/15 ounce
