Description:
This is a used handmade 1 ½” belt buckle made by Bill Homer from Groom, Texas. Bill started building bits and spurs full time in 1994. The back of the buckle is marked Homer. Bill is listed in Bits & Spurs Motifs, Techniques and Modern Makers by Ned & Jody Martin. Bill has retired from spur making and his work is very collectible and does not show up often for sale. This buckle and keeper are nickel and are mounted with nickel silver and brass. There is engraving on the sides of the keeper. The belt bar is steel. This would be a nice belt buckle to wear or to add to a collection from a very collectible maker.
