Description:
El Diablo aka Diablo is a grade 2012 , 15.3hh GORGEOUS red roan overo gelding. He is halter bred but still athletic. He’s one of the funnest trail horses, he has a good mind, stays focused, does what you ask. Diablo adores trails, he’s bombproof, he will go through anything, loves water, has been to the beach, ridden bareback a lot and tackless with just a rope around his neck. He has pulled my friend in a wagon with a lasso and has pulled barrels too. But hasn’t ever roped cattle. He does not like spurs but he does not need them. Diablo is best suited for an experienced rider because he can be a little testy but it’s rare and it’s nothing bad. He prefers someone that knows what they’re doing cause he gets annoyed with inexperience. He also has a huge motor but has always settled down immediately after running him. However that’s not to say you can’t put your little kids on him, my friends that have never been on a horse have ridden him, and little girls as young as 2 have ridden him and he was great. No prancing or silly business. In addition, he has been ridden English and has jumped but just for fun. However, he needs to be someones ranch/trail horse. Diablo will be your best friend, he has the sweetest personality. I’m only selling because I’m trying to start my career in the barrel horse world and he will not make it as a barrel horse.
