Description:
If you are looking for a nice young horse with a good foundation, then take a look at Patron. He is a flashy tri colored paint gelding, 6 years old and 15.2 hh with long thick mane and tail and a pretty head with a kind eye. He has been started correctly and is ready for someone to finish off his training. Patron is very gentle with a great personality, and he enjoys attention. He rides quietly on a loose rein, with a temperament more like that of a pleasure horse than a performance horse. He is laid back, but responsive, content to walk quietly all day long but will easily step into a trot or lope when asked. Patron was bred and raised by an older gentleman out in West Texas, and we are his second owner. He has been ridden in the arena, out in the pasture, and along the highway and nothing seems to bother him or spook him. Patron is a pleasure to ride out in the pasture, crosses water with no problem, and he is very sure footed and careful. He has an excellent stop, a decent neck rein, and is starting to work off your leg. He is a fancy mover so he would make a nice English horse as well. Patron gets along great with other horses, he is easy to catch, load, haul and shoe, and stands quietly tied. He can be ridden by himself or with other horses. He has never offered to buck, rear, bite, kick or take off but he is still a 6 year old so he is not suitable for children or beginner riders. $3500.
