Description:
Miles is a gorgeous red roan gelding with lots of eye appeal that is BROKE BROKE. He’s made square and straight like you want one. He’s gentle and has the very best cowboy walk you’ll ever ride. He has a great handle and is broke enough to put him anywhere you want to. You can ride him with your feet or hands. He’s been ridden in the arena and he’ll WTL, do roll backs, pivot, neck rein, pick up his leads, lope circles, move off your leg, two track and has a huge stop. He has the most awesome lope you’ll ever find. He can lope in a shoe box and hits the ground so soft you almost wouldn’t know he’s loping. He’s been used for ranch rodeos and has won top horse award a couple of times. He’s been in both indoor and outdoor pens. He’s been hauled and competed on in the team sorting. He’s been started really good heeling in the arena. He came off a 145,000 acre ranch originally and is no stranger to long days. This guy will and has done everything you can do with one on a ranch including gathering, penning, sorting pairs, doctoring sicks, dragging calves to the fire, scouting for strays, loading trucks and checking fences. He was used to catch stray cattle out on the roads for the county. He was used in a feedlot and will side pass the gates with ease all day long. He always has a great work ethic and will not quit you. He’s been ridden in the mountains in Colorado and Wyoming as a guide horse and in the Palo Duro Canyon. He’s been taken on lots of trail rides and rides just fine in a group and will ride anywhere you want front, middle or back. If you want a horse with the whole package conformation, flash, pretty, athletic ability, work ethic, mind and heart look no further. Here he is at a reasonable price ready to go to work with you. He’s really good cow bred but unfortunately due to owner error he doesn’t have papers and no chance of getting them. Miles has absolutely no bad habits or vices. He stands for the farrier, ties, bathes, loads and hauls.
