Description:
Sprite is a super pretty buckskin gelding that is shapey and has plenty of bone. He’s really safe and gentle for your family to enjoy. He’s a great trail riding horse and has been ridden hundreds of miles down every kind of trail you could imagine. He’s awesome to ride out alone and goes wherever you want him to. He’s really broke and neck reins, moves off your leg, side passes the gates, picks up his leads, lopes good circles, stops good and backs up easily. He’s been ridden all over the mountains in Colorado and New Mexico. He’s a great ranch horse and was raised on a big ranch and is used to being ridden in big country. He’s been used for most tasks on the ranch. The only thing they didn’t do was rope on him because tne wife used him mainly and she didn’t rope. He’s been ridden by the kids and beginner guests on the ranch to go along with the cowboys to enjoy a day on the ranch. The grandfather on the ranch rode him to check fences and windmills and look for stray cattle. He’s been used as a lesson horse and is adaptable to different levels of riders. He loves the kids and will stand for hours while they paint and decorate him up, paint his feet with glitter and braid his hair. They hauled him on the weekends for the 2 smaller kids to playday on. They just did walk trot through the events as neither of their smaller kids like to go fast. He’s the ultimate all around horse for the whole family. Sprite doesn’t have any bad habits or vices. He stands for the farrier, ties, bathes, loads and hauls great. He is somewhat low backed and it doesn’t effect his riding ability or performance at all. He is priced accordingly and otherwise would be priced a lot higher. It’s just a conformation issue. If you want to buy on a budget but want a really pretty horse that’s real broke and super safe that’s priced very reasonable don’t miss Sprite.
