Shorty is a 8 year old, 15 hand, 1175#, Bay Ranch gelding. This is an outstanding ranch gelding in every way, you will not find many like him offered for sale. He is an own son of High Brow Cat (NCHA Leading Sire, All ages, All divisions, Sire of more than $74 million in money-earners across five disciplines, Sire of an unprecedented EIGHT NCHA Futurity Champions, Sire of 21 AQHA World Champions, 2017 Breeding Fee: $22,500.)and out of a great money earning and producing daughter of Shorty Lena. This is a big, good looking, well made horse, that is even better minded. Very gentle and stays gentle for just about anyone. He has had a lot of quality training and a lot of money invested in him, with some of the best trainers in the country. We bought Shorty off the ranch who bred and raised him and have had him here since the first part of the year. He was a trained Cutter until he was 4 and then went for some roping training and has been ranched on since. Very cowy, will cut a cow, work a gate, and roped in the pasture and pen. He is exactly what we look for in a ranch horse, great breeding, has good bone and foot, very athletic, super broke in the bridle, big stop, with lots of turn around. Gentle as a puppy but lots of manners, he is the goods! You will not find ’em like this for sale very often and I have loved having him in my string, he is my #1.
