He is good minded and willing, all he needs are some wet saddle blankets and a job and in no time will make someone one heck of a nice horse! Duster is a good looking 9 year old grey gelding, 15.2 hh with a big hip, a size one shoe, pretty head with a kind eye and a dark mane and tail. He is AQHA registered as “BCR Poco Mark” #5169343. He has never offered to buck or rear, and doesn’t get hot or mad under pressure. Duster rides great out in the pasture, likes to travel out on a loose rein, and isn’t spooked by animals jumping out, changes in scenery, loud noises, etc. He will cross water, go through thick brush, over logs, and up and down rocky hill without a problem. Duster has a wonderfully smooth trot and rocking horse lope, and wants to get his butt underneath him when he stops. He will sidepass, work off your leg, and open and shut gates. He has not been roped off of but has been used to push and sort cattle, and wants to watch a cow a little bit. Duster has plenty of speed if you ask him for it and has the athletic ability to make a performance horse out of, whether you want to run barrels, rope steers or ranch rodeo. He has a soft mouth but needs a little more work on his handle. He can be ridden out by himself or with other horses, and doesn’t mind being separated from the group. He has also been ridden alongside the road and in traffic and isn’t bothered by it. $3,500. Duster has good ground manners, stands quietly tied, and is easy to catch, load, haul and shoe.
