Boots was born May 10, 2016. He is the perfect color combination of paint with more dark color than white so he shouldn’t sunburn as easily as some paints! This youngster should grow to be a nice sized horse. His sire Playin’ Skeets (QH) was approximately 15 hands and his dam approximately 15 hands 1100 lbs. Boots will grow up to be physically able to handle any job. His sire is shown in working cow horse events. His dam is a all around type of horse, she is used most frequently for ranch work. His mom has Smart Chic O’leana on her papers. His Great grand sire was a money earner in APHA reining. Boots has been worked with since birth and should be ready to start as a 2 year old with ease. He leads, loads, baths, stands for the farrier, is good with clippers and ponies. We have also tought Boots to move all his body parts from flexing at the pole all the way to moving his feet on command. We are also starting to work with Boots in the round pen and getting him use to a saddle pad. With his breeding, good looks, and strong foundation of training he will be a great addition to the herd.
