Description:
This is a vintage silver mounted Crockett solid shank bit with loose rein rings. It is marked Crockett on one of the bars on the mouth piece. The mark is very faint but you can make out the CR and the TT. This bit is style number 15 as shown in the Crockett Catalog No. 12 on page 34. The bit is steel and is mounted with engraved nickel silver. Both of the conchos on the cheeks are dented. It is not bent, broken, or repaired. There are marks from use. This would be a nice bit to use or to add to a collection.

Measurements: Cheek Pieces excluding rein rings a little less than 7”, Mouth (between cheeks) 5”, Port Height 1 ¾”, Bars Diameter 7/16”, Weight 12.7 ounces
