Description:
Hi my name is shane, i am 29 and seeking work as a ranch hand or manager/Forman on a cow calf, yearling operation.

I currently am a one man crew on a 400 head cow calf operation in northern colorado, with help from my fiance and light help from neighbors.

My duties and knowledge include, but are not limited to-

Winter calving

Doctoring on and off pasture

Roping

Riding

General checking of cows while in summer pastures, making sure they have salt and mineral

Shipping (i do have my CDL)

Flood irrigation

Putting up hay

Light mechanical work on equipment

Fence work on nearly 50,000 acres, that includes our property and the 7 leases of national forest and state ground that we run on during the summer

Electrical work

Welding

Carpentry

I also have experience starting horses.
