While the owners are hands on, they seek a couple who is willing to take direction and complete the tasks of enhancement and maintenance of the ranch and the lodging. This 1,000 acre ranch is built around wildlife and water. There are two lakes on the property comprising of roughly 130 and 15 acres as well as rice fields, deer blinds and great lodging. They have and will continue with an atmosphere of comfort and aesthetic value as the ranch continues to grow. As the Ranch and Facilities Foreman of this property, you will be responsible for the complete oversight of the ranch with the owner. The tasks include but are not limited to: • Range management • Wildlife management • Management of crawfish farming and facilities • Scouting, guiding and processing of game animals • Lodge maintenance and upkeep • Lawn care and landscaping • Pool maintenance • Firewood cutting and stacking at lodge • Lodge, vehicle and equipment supply inventory • Truck and Heavy equipment operation and maintenance and cleaning • Fence monitoring and upkeep • Guest relations • Monitoring and upkeep of water and irrigation systems (Lodge, lake and Pasture) • Boat cleaning and running • Filling Feeders • Blind upkeep and maintenance • Duck blind maintenance • Running game cameras and logging photos • Road work and brush clearing • Shredding roads and pastures • Brush spraying and clearing • Varmint control Housekeeper: • Clean house twice per week unless guests are present which will require daily cleaning • Supply the house with cleaning supplies, groceries and other household items • Cooking when necessary Qualifications: • Ranch management •Heavy equipment operation and maintenance • Wildlife experience •Previous experience with crawfish farming (can be limited) • Fence work • Water and well systems • Light plumbing and electric work • Good with customer service Please send resumes and references to graingerranchrecruiting@gmail.com with Edna as the subject line.
