Description:
This is a pair of vintage handmade step in shot gun chaps that are not maker marked. They are stamped 1350 31 on the belt under the buckle. They are probably from the early 1900’s. The chaps appear all original with the exception of a new belt and a new tie string at the center of the yokes. One of the lace holes was pulled and a new hole was punched and they were relaced. They are made out of brown chap leather and feature two outside pockets with flaps. There is a slit in the leather on one of the pocket flaps at the button slot. The leather is still flexible with some cracking from age. The spaghetti fringe is stiff. They are in really good shape for their age. All of the fringe appears to be intact. Please see pictures for condition. We are selling these for display purposes only since vintage leather does not hold up well to wear. Measurements are given to give you an idea of the size. These would be a great pair of chaps to add to a collection for display.
