Description:
We are a progressive, family-owned operation, diversified in cattle and farming in northwest Nebraska. We are looking for a working ranch foreman to work hands-on (experience preferred). Primary duties will include herd health, feeding, fencing and equipment maintenance (mostly newer equipment).



Our emphasis is on cattle consisting of seedstock and yearlings and we raise our own feed. We have an annual bull sale every year and an extensive A.I. and embryo transplant program. We are looking for an honest, reliable, ambitious person with a good work ethic. Resume and references are a must. This is an opportunity to learn most phases of the cattle business.



Our ground is flat to rolling hills and we use ATV’s almost exclusively to move cattle from place to place. Our feeding equipment is relatively new, we try to do our own maintenance/service on all equipment.



We are looking for a long-term commitment and feel it is an excellent opportunity to grow in the job. This is a beautiful area and a great place to raise a family. Grade school and high school are 15 miles away. Nice, big, three bedroom, recently remodeled home. We offer health insurance and a health savings account. Utilities (heat and electricity) are paid. Meat is furnished and there is a grocery allowance. We will pay for employee to attend A.I. (artificial insemination) training if they need it. Salary is negotiable.
